Henry Lee Johnson passed away December 10, 2008.� Born May 15, 1922 in Goldsboro, NC he was the son of the late Rev. Josephus and Mattie (Moses) Johnson.� Henry served in the US Army from 1943 to 1945 during WW II in Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.� While in service he earned the American Theater Campaign Award, EAMET Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal.� Henry worked as a laborer for 33 years at Pratt-Letchworth in Buffalo retiring in 1984.� He was a member of the Lazy Lakes Niagara and enjoyed camping throughout the United States, a former member of the Sunrise Church of Christ Disciples in Buffalo until it closed and enjoyed traveling and bowling.� Henry was predeceased by his wife Ruth Naomi (Griffin) Johnson in 1986. � Henry is survived by his children Dianne (Jeff) Fortner of Bethelem, GA, Marleen (Henry) Lewis of Appelton, NY, Hope (James) Robinson of Thomasville, GA and the late David Johnson, Sanford Johnson and Gerald Freeman.� He is the brother of Alberta Greene and Steve (Mary) Johnson both of Buffalo.� Henry is also survived by his special daughter-in-law Beverly Turner.� He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. � Relatives and friends may call Monday 11-1 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 1 PM.� Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.� Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.�� <h3>Visitation</h3> Monday, Dec. 15, 2008 11-1 PM <h3>Services</h3> Monday, Dec. 15, 2008 at 1 PM
