Judith Ann Sylvester passed away October 26, 2007 in Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, Newfane.� Born December 26, 1940 in Lockport she was the daughter of Everett and Millicent Smith.� Judith worked for Sherwood Celpac in production and as a cab driver for Star Cab Company.� She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing and animals especially her dog.� Judith was predeceased by her husband Mark Sylvester, daughter Kimberly Sylvester, granddaughter Megan Merchant and sister Jean Chapman.

Judith is survived by her children Jeffery (Edyie) Whitmore, Steven Sylvester, Deborah (Ron) Irwin and Barbara Whitmore all of Lockport.� She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.� Judith was the sister of Barbara (Don) Jones of Hamlin, NY and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visitation.� Friends are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday at 11 AM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
