James Rose Obituary

James M. "Jimbo" Rose passed away suddenly December 4, 2008.� Born July 23, 1948 in Lockport he was the son of the late Fredrick and Cecelia (Watkins) Rose.� Jimi served in the US Marine Corp. from 1967 to 1969 in Vietnam.� Upon discharge he worked at Harrison Radiator in production for 30 years and retired as a foreman.� Jimi was a member of the VFW and Marine Corp. League and enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, football of which he was an avid Raiders fan.� He lived life to the fullest and also enjoyed riding his Harley Davison.

Jimi is survived by his son Terrance "Terry" (Karla) Rose of Phoenix and daughter Cecelia "CJ" Rose of Lockport; grandfather of Lincoln and Madison; brother of David Timothy (Wilma) Watkins of Texas, Don (Theresa) Watkins, Mary (James) Kiner both of Lockport and the late Cecelia McClain, Fredrick Rose, Jr., Rebecca Robinson and Keith Rose; nephew of Frank "Skip" Rose of Canada, Frances Blackman of Lockport and Rita Rose of California; also survived by a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday 11 to 1pm at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held� �Tuesday at1pm.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
