Obituary of Nellie Raetz

Nellie L. Raetz passed away October 12, 2007 in Niagara Hospice House.� Born August 19, 1916 in Lockport she was the daughter of Henry and Lula Devoe.� Nellie lovingly took care of her husband August W. Raetz during his illness before he passed away on November 27, 1987.� She enjoyed baking and was very actives in St. Peter's Church of Christ.�

She is survived by her children Lu Ann (Mark) Ludington of Florida, Joyce Raetz Balcom and Carl Raetz both of Lockport .� She was the grandmother seven and great grandmother of ten.� Nellie was also predeceased by her sister Mildred Devoe.�� She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
