Susan Marie Allen passed away March 23, 2010 in Niagara Hospice House. Born April 17, 1952 in North Tonawanda she is the daughter of Barbara (nee Frazer) Richardson of Newfane and the late Ronald H. Richardson. Susan worked for the Lockport School District for 15 years where she was a Technology & Assessment Organizer. She enjoyed doll making, quilting, sewing, her passion was her family. Susan would identify and cultivate the good in everyone.
Besides her mother Susan is also survived by her husband Michael Allen of Newfane; mother of Ronald Bowerman of Newfane; step-mother of Kristen Allen and Kyle (Dina) Allen both of Amherst; grandmother three; sister of Kathryn (Donald) Gross, Sandy Starke both of Newfane and Bruce (Cathy) Richardson of Texas; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM in the Grace Bible Church, 6023 Dutton Place, Newfane. Memorials to Roswell Park Breast Clinic or to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Roswell Park Brest Clinic or to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
