Vivian Mason Obituary

Vivian B. Mason passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007 under the competent and compassionate care of Niagara Hospice. Born March 22, 1921 in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Zimmer, sister of the late Mary Sund and wife of the late George B. Mason. Vivian was a 27 year resident of Pendleton and 19 year resident of Naples, Florida. She is survived by her children Wayne (Connie) Mason of Gasport, Linda (Wayne) Shutt of Lockport and Karen Mason of Olcott. Vivian was the grandmother of Lisa, Douglas, Kelli and Steven; great grandmother of Bryan, Courtney, Cody, Anna, Kay, Bruce, Mason and Zachary. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. .



Vivian enjoyed being with her family and friends, gardening, baking and always doing kind acts for other people. She had a heart of gold and was loved by many. Her grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren were very special to her. They spent special days together sharing stories and precious memories about her ancestors and spending time doing craft projects. Vivian was a member of the Dale Association and the Lockport Red Hat Canal Cuties.



There will be no prior visitation. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 AM in Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 North Tonawanda Creek Road, North Tonawanda. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
