Obituary of Audrey Tomaino

Audrey M. Tomaino passed away September 20, 2007 in Niagara Hospice House.� Born March 14, 1926 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Crist J. and Marie W. Price Staats.� Audrey worked for many years in the meat department of Scapelliti&amp;#39;s Store on Clinton Street, where she was known and loved by customers and co-workers alike.�� She was a life-long member of St. Joseph&amp;#39;s Roman Catholic Church, where she was married on Sept. 1, 1947 to Angelo A. Tomaino, with whom she shared a close and loving marriage, until his untimely passing in 1982. Together they owned and operated Lockport Hearing Aid Center where they were well known in the community. � Audrey was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who treasured every moment spent with family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all. � She is survived by her beloved children Helen M. (John) Strouse of Westford, MA, Samuel A. (Deborah) Tomaino, of Las Vegas NV, Deborah A (Vincent ) DiCarlo of Westfield MA, Kristine (the late Robert) Neilson of Angola, IN, Michael J. Tomaino and John J. (Lorraine) Tomaino both of Lockport; grandmother of ten and great grandmother of seven, and Neita A. McVeigh of Lockport, who was a loving friend and "daughter". � Friends may call Sunday 4-8 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 AM. � In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Audrey&amp;#39;s name to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport. <h3>Visitation</h3> Visitation Times
