Viola Terpil, a native of Brooklyn, passed away September 10, 2007 in Niagara Hospice House.� Born February 19, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of George and Josephine Gunther Rowan.� Viola worked as a factory worker for Western Electric in Queens, NY before moving to Lockport.� She volunteered with several organizations.� Viola was predeceased by her husband Benjamin Terpil in 1952.� � Viola is survived by her children Adele Puppo of Las Vegas, NV, Lorraine (Dennis) Magee of Lockport and the late Frank Terpil; grandmother of Ryan (Michele Tracy) Magee, Daren Magee, Michael (Caron) Puppo and Marc (Patti Degrott) Puppo; great grandmother of �Seth Magee, Andrew Puppo and Shianne Burrows; sister of Loretta Rowan, the late George Rowan and John Rowan. � Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Hoem, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Friday morning at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Stahler Cemetery in Lockport.� Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Visitation Times
