Jean Gailor Obituary

Jean M. Gailor of Lockport passed away peacefully on Labor Day September 3, 2007 in Briody's Health Care Facility.� Born September 25, 1916 in Lockport she was the daughter of George and Caroline Specht Morrill.� She is survived by her husband of 68 years Edward A. Gailor; mother of Terrie Gailor, Linda (Lee) Lewis and Edward M. (Anette) Gailor all Lockport; grandmother of Craig (Sue) Lewis, Edward D. Gailor, Mark Lewis and Shawn Gailor; great grandmother of Chad Gailor, Kenna Lee Lewis, Cassidy Lewis and Andrew Gailor; sister of Anna Ruth Doherty Taylor and the late Thelma Morrill, Drusilla Van Alstyne, Jane Thiel Ritzenthaler and Dorothy Mae Raymond; also survived by several nieces and nephews.



Aside from being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Jean had been a Cub Scout den mother and was active in the March of Dimes.� She also enjoyed playing bid pitch, bridge and golf.� Her greatest passion was her family and a life time love of dogs.� Near the end her favorite pastime was lunch daily at Chet's Dog House.



Relatives and friends may call Tuesday 7 to 9 and Wednesday 4 to 8 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM.� Memorials to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
