Lota Biernacki passed away November 7, 2008 in Niagara Hospice House.� Born June 13, 1922 in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late William and Stella (Stefanowski) Blonkowski.� Lota was a member of the St. John's Mother's Club and was also a girls scout leader.� She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.� Lota was predeceased by her husband John J. Biernacki on December 14, 1995.

Lota is survived by her loving daughters Dee Morotchie and Ann (the late David) O'Byrne both of Lockport; devoted grandmother of Kelli O'Byrne, Amy (Jon Mahoney) O'Byrne, Ryan O'Byrne, Jill (Nicolas) Atencio and Christi Morotchie; beloved sister of Frances Sahr of Newfane, Loraine (Edward) Sherman of Williamsville, Dolores Dubai, Stanley Blonkowski both of Lockport and the late Mary (Raymond) Nowak, Jean Kowalski, Helen Dubaj and Dorothy Blonkowski; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday, November 8, 2008 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to Briody Health Care Facility, 909 Lincoln Ave., Lockport, NY 14094 or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
