Daydon Da'Zear Alston (Day Day), born July 11, 2003, lost his life suddenly on November 4, 2008, at a very young age. �He was the son of Sondra Heigl and Donathon Alston, step son of Winston "Lloyd" Jenkins and devoted brother of the late Davon and Camron Jenkins.
Daydon is survived by his grandparents Leona (Mark) Gilbert, Terrance (Pat) Haight, Erma Alston, William Felder and great grandfather Mark Haight.� Also left behind are several loving aunts and uncles including Sheila (Patrick) Harris, Karl Heigl, George Hillman II, Fred Wolfe, Cathy Carson, Kali Alston, Paris Webb, Charise Nix, Samuel Nix, Andre Carroll and Samantha Nix.� Loving Cousin of Abigail, Serena, Thomas and Owen Harris, as well as many others.� Daydon was predeceased by great grandmother Fiona Haight and grandmother Narva King.� Daydon also leaves his loving godmother Rona "Aunt Chop" Styres and his special friend Stone "Peanut" Styres, whom he loved dearly.
He attended kindergarten at Pratt Elementary School in Barker, like his brother, Camron, he liked attending school each day.� When not in school, Daydon was the typical five year old.� He loved playing outside and being around his family.� Daydon was always a happy little boy and had a permanent smile on his face.� He was constantly laughing at something and he had a laugh that would just bring a smile to your face.� He attended Hess Road Wesleyan Church with his brothers and his cousins.� At church he participated in the choir where he sang with his brothers.
Friend and family may come to call Sunday November 9, 2008 in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, from 3 to 7 PM, where funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11 AM.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorial Fund at First Niagara Bank, checks can be made payable c/o Sheila Harris.
