Obituary of Camron Jenkins

Camron DeAndre Jenkins, born January 27, 2002, lost his life suddenly on November 4, 2008 at a very young age.� He was the son of Sondra Heigl and Winston "Lloyd" Jenkins, Jr., stepson of Donathon Alston, Jaime Jenkins and the devoted brother of the late Davon Jenkins and Daydon Alston.� Camron is survived by siblings, Olivia Herschell, Alloyah Jenkins, Winston Jenkins, III and Noah Herschell as well as stepsiblings Kelsie McNevin and Devine McNevin.� He also leaves behind grandparents, Leona (Mark) Gilbert, Terrance (Pat) Haight, Winston Jenkins, Sr. and great grandfather Mark Haight.� Also survived by several aunts and uncles including Sheila (Patrick) Harris, Karl Heigl, George Hillman, III, Fred Wolfe, Cathy Carson, Cathy Harding, Shawnta Jenkins, Kevin Bell, Steve Hill and Andre Carroll.� He is the loving cousin of Abigail, Serena, Thomas and Owen Harris as well as many others.� Camron was predeceased by grandmother Arlene Jenkins and great grandmother Flora Haight.� He also leaves behind his loving godmother Rona "Aunt Chop" Styres, his special friend Stone "Peanut" Styres and very special teacher Mrs. Voutour, all who he loved greatly.

Camron attended the first grade at Pratt Elementary School in Barker.� He loved school and strived to do his best in class.� Camron always had an upbeat and happy attitude.� Everytime you saw him he had a big smile that just lit up the whole room.� Camron loved spending time with his family.� He attended Hess Road Wesleyan Church with his brothers and his cousins.� At church, he participated in the children's choir with his brothers.� He was looking forward to his upcoming birthday in January, and was even planning a ‘huge' birthday party with his family and friends from school.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday 3-7 PM at & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to "Sondra's Boys" Memorial Fund c/o First Niagara Bank (checks payable to Sheila Harris) would be appreciated by the family.
