Catherine Fisher passed away Friday October 17, 2008 at the Erie County Home, Alden, NY.� Born October 4, 1928 in Wheatfield she was the daughter of the late Martin and Edith Buhr Chesterfield.� Catherine is predeceased by her husband Ralph E. Fisher Jr., who passed away March 30, 1999.� She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Grace Episcopal Church, Order of the Eastern Stars and the National Campers and Hikers Association.� Catherine loved to help people when she could and was very devoted to her family and to her cat, "Max".

Catherine is survived by her son David Fisher of Lockport.� She was the sister of Elaine James of Rochester and the late Mildred Cutting and Charles Chesterfield.� She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
� There will be no prior visitation.� Memorials to the American Diabetes Association and the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family
