Donald Alexander Obituary

Donald E. Alexander passed away October 16, 2008 in the Deaconess Center, Buffalo.� Born January 25, 1945 in Lockport he was the son of the late Elvin and Margaret (Grinava) Alexander.� He worked as a pipe fitter for 35 years at Delphi retiring in 2004.� Don was a member of the N.A. Hunting Club, the N.R.A., 4-H and enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.� He was predeceased by his wife Donna LaPort Alexander in November of 2006.

Don is survived by his step-children Donald Dear of Watertown, Dannie (Late, Susan) Dear of Lockport, Denise (Randy Willard) Dear of Gasport, Debbie (Jack) Warner of Richfield, Davenee (Joe Kleitz) Dear of Lockport, James Bower of Gasport, the late Frank Dear and Donna Lou (Doug) Wurzer; grandfather of thirteen and great grandfather of one; brother of Trudy (Charles) Worden of Lockport and the late Ray Alexander; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to the American Stroke Association, 25 Hazelwood Drive, Amherst, NY 14228 would be appreciated by the family.
