Rev. Donald Foley passed away October 7, 2008 in Absolut of Gasport Health Care Facility after a brief illness.� Born April 8, 1933 in Galt, (now Cambridge), Ontario he was the son of the late Thomas and Gladys (Johnson) Foley and step-son of the late L. Marie Foley-McGregor of Stratford, Ontario.� Most of his childhood was spent in the Loyal True Blue &amp; Orange Home in Richmond Hill, Ontario.� Rev. Donald graduated in 1958 from Elim Bible Institute in Lima, NY and attended Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and also Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO.� He earned his Bachelor of Bible Theology and Master of Biblical Studies at the International Seminary in Plymouth, FL.� Rev. Donald completed two Clinical Pastoral Seminars in Pastoral Ministry to the Sick at W.C.A. Hospital, Jamestown and one at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.� He began serving as the pastor in churches at Aylmer, St. Thomas and Kingsville.� Rev. Donald was ordained a deacon in the ME Annual Conference in 1960 then he began serving as the minister in the Missouri East Conference, Methodist Church, Lewistown where he served a five church parish and also in Wayland where he also served a five church parish.� Rev Donald was the pastor for the WNY Conference for the United Methodist Church beginning in 1970.� He over saw churches in Belfast and Oramel, Rochester, Ashville and Blockville, Sheridan, Medina, Victor, Wilson and Clymer (Edwards Chapel).� Rev Donald was the chaplin for the Rochester Friendly Home.� Following his retirement in June of 1995 he served as a part-time minister for the Clinton Street UMC, Lockport and Royalton Center UMC, Gasport, calling pastor for First UMC, Batavia and pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Batavia.� He enjoyed woodworking, fishing on Chautauqua Lake, motorcycling, mall walking and was a Silver Sneaker. � Rev. Donald is survived by his wife Audrey R. (Huddle) Foley of Lockport; father of Janice M. (David) McKinney of Lockport and Ian D. (Michele) Foley of Buffalo; grandfather of Kari and Kelly both of Lockport;� brother of Dorothy (William) Norris of Cambridge, ON, Evelyn (Les) Lee of Brantford, ON, Grace Holtze of Fergus, ON, Barbara Hartung of Straford, ON, twin sister Donalda Horst of Tavistock, ON, Dennis (Marilyn) Foley of Shakespeare, ON and the late Thomas H. Foley; also survived by his aunt Helen (William A.) Booth of Cambridge, ON and several nieces and nephews. � Relatives and friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 AM in Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Avenue, Lockport.� Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.� Flowers are gratefully declined; memorials to the Alzheimer&amp;#39;s Association or to Emmanuel United Methodist Church would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 2-4 & 7-9 PM <h3>Services</h3> Friday, Oct. 10, 2008 at 10 AM
