Obituary of Paul Linderman

Paul A. Linderman, Lockport, passed away September 29, 2008 in Briody Health Care Facility.� Born July 20, 1921 in Lockport , he was the son of Arthur and Anna Budnack Linderman.� Paul graduated from Lockport High School in 1939 and worked as a journeyman tool and die maker and supervisor at Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors for 40 years.� He served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1947 as part of the occupation forces following World War II.� Paul married Mildred Squire on June 21, 1947 in St. Patrick's RC Church in Lockport.� He was a member of St. Patrick's parish, the Knights of Columbus Council 319, and while at Harrison's was a member of the G-9 Management Club.� Paul enjoyed golfing, bowling and woodworking.

Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Diane L. (Donald) Wiedrich of W. Henrietta, NY, Donna S. Bothell of Washington and Beth A. (Robert Kimball) Linderman of Watertown, NY; grandfather of Margo Wiedrich-Smith of Hamburg, NY, Christopher Wiedrich of Avondale, AZ, Charles Kimball and Katharine Kimball both of Watertown, NY; great grandfather of four; brother of Robert H. Linderman of Lockport and also survived by several nieces and nephews.� Paul was predeceased by a sister, Marie Linderman Root and a brother Eugene Linderman.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:30 AM in All Saints Parish at St. St. Patrick's RC Church, 76 Church Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to the church or to Briody Long Term Care Scholarship Fund would be appreciated by the family.
