Joseph Szpilewski passed away suddenly September 24, 2008. Born September 2, 1967 in Lockport, he is the son of Eugene and Felicia (Czekaj) Szpilewski of Lockport. Joseph worked for various businesses in the Buffalo area. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, hockey, football and shooting pool.
Besides his parents, Joseph is also survived by his brothers, Robert (Lisa) Szpilewski, Steven (Heather) Szpilewski and Thomas Szpilewski; uncle of Morgan and Braelyn; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 1-5 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where prayers will be offered Monday at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Good Shepherd RC Church, Tonawanda Creek Road. Memorials to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220 would be appreciated by the family.
