Jean Burns passed away September 22, 2008 after a brief illness.� Born July 24, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI she was the daughter of John T. and Dorothy (Giles) Soward.� Jean worked in production for Fed Co. in Buffalo.� She enjoyed working, reading, watching TV and doing crossword puzzles.� Jean is survived by her children Robert (Juleen Rene) Burns, III, Angela Lackey, Sabrina Nichole Dames and Torry Cardinal Dames; eight grandchildren; she is also survived by seven siblings two predeceased Jean; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday 10-11 AM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 11 AM.�
