Charla Dickey Obituary

Charla Raye Dickey passed away suddenly September 20, 2008 at Erie County Medical center.� Born September 16, 1956 in Bakersfield, CA she is the daughter of Charles and Laura (Tucker) Brown.� Charla served in the US Army from 1974 to 1977 and attended Syracuse University earning her Master Degree.� She worked as an IRA Specialist for People Inc. in Williamsville for 5 years.� She was an aspiring writer and was very active in here church.� Charla was predeceased by her husband Steven L. Dickey in 1998 and also by her daughter Stefanie Rose Dickey.�

Charla will be missed by her children Jason E. Dickey of Doraville, GA, Andrew Dickey of Rome, NY, Matthew Dickey of Schenectady, NY, Sara Barth of Kirkville, NY and Emily Dickey of Syracuse, NY; grandmother of Benjamin Dickey; sister of Michael Brown, Cindy (Tim) Hulce and Laura Brwon; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visitation.� Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services Thursday at 11 AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6339 Hamm Road, Lockport.� Interment will be in Mexico Cemetery, Mexico, NY.� Memorials to American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
