Shirley M. Speer passed away Saturday September 13, 2008 in Riverwood Health Care Center in Grand Island.� Born January 18, 1934 in Millville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Iola Hale Weese.� Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and bowling in her younger years.� She did baking for the Dutch Inn and the Crow's Nest and also worked at Fisher Price, Medina and Gerry's Market, Lockport.

Shirley was the mother of Susan Kline of Grand Island, Patricia Remick of Lockport, Sheryl (Tim) Lehsten of Buffalo and the late Timothy and Sharon.� She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; Joseph Kline, Sharon (Stephen) Steinberg, Timothy (Julie) Speer, Joseph (Kelly) Speer, Ashley Speer, Jennifer Speer, Eric Speer, Jessica (Frank) Napier, Vanessa (Frank) Speer, Stephen (Brandy) Speer, Danielle Speer and Elizabeth Bartlett;� also survived by, �16 great grandchildren and her daughter in-law Barb Weese.� Shirley was the sister of Donald (Marie) Weese of Middleport and the late Leslie and Marvin Weese.

Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM.
