Thomas Vaeth Obituary

Thomas G. Vaeth passed away Sunday September 14, 2008 in Lockport Memorial Hospital.� Born December 30, 1944 in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Margaret Casey Vaeth.� Thomas was a self employed Manufacturers Representative selling exterior building materials for 20 years.� He was a member of the Niagara Frontier Builders Association, DeSales Booster Club and St. John the Baptist R.C. Church.�

Thomas is survived by his wife of 41 years Glenda (Greene) Vaeth.� Father of Michele (Shawn) Burt of Pendleton, Thomas G. (Hollie) of Lockport, Matthew J. of Washington D.C., Patrick J. and Andrew J. both of Buffalo.� Grandfather of Alison, Anna, Sophia and Emilie Burt and Andrew Vaeth.� Brother of Joseph of Roanoke, Va., James (Judith) Vaeth of Irondequoit, John (Margaret) Vaeth of Tonawanda, Barbara (Frank) Shaughnessy of Hamburg, Patricia Scheg of Camilus, NY, Marie (Arthur) Leo of Rush, NY, Kathleen Vaeth of Syracuse and the late Richard and Margaret Ann.� He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday 3 to 8 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where prayers will be offered Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Memorials to the church would be appreciated by the family.
