Obituary of Mary Lehmann

Mary Lehmann passed away September 11, 2008 in Lockport Memorial Hospital.� Born April 13, 1935 in Lockport she was the daughter of Norman and Marie (Mahar) Smith.� Mary graduated from Niagara University earning her nurses degree.� She worked as a school nurse and worked out of her house running a day care center for several years.� Mary was a member of the YWCA where she was &amp;quot;Woman of the Year&amp;quot;, active in the Women&amp;#39;s College Club, a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church where she taught church school and was also very active in many other charitable organizations.� Mary was predeceased by her husband Howard F. Lehmann on May 8, 1996. � Mary is survived by her loving children Peter (Linda) Lehmann of Michigan, Caroline (Andrew) Vona of Lockport and Christiann (Kevin) Folks of Long Island, NY; cherished grandmother of Melissa, Mary Catherine Lehmann, Nicholas, Megan Vona, William, Patrick and Sean Folks; dear sister of John (Clara) Smith of Lockport and Sr. Caroline Smith, SSMN; also survived by two nieces. � Relatives and friends may call Friday 3-7 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Saturday morning at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to the Leukemia &amp; Lymphoma Society of WNY, 4053 Maple Road, Suite 110, Amherst, NY 14226 would be appreciated by the family.� <h3>Visitation</h3> Friday, Sept. 12, 2008 3-7 PM <h3>Services</h3> Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at 9:30 AM
