Obituary of Thomas Haley

Thomas Edwin Haley passed away August 27, 2008 in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.� Born March 4, 1934 in Buffalo, he was the son of Edward and Emma (Schultz) Haley.� Thomas served in the US Army.� He also worked for Harrison Radiator in production retiring in 1988.� Thomas was a faithful Buffalo Bills and LA Dodgers fan.� He enjoyed the times spent with his children and grandchildren, especially holidays.

Thomas is survived by his wife and devoted caregiver Michele (Vermette) Haley of Lockport. �They just celebrated their 43rd Anniversary on August 14, 2008; father of Lynnette Haley, Shawn (Lisa) Haley both of Lockport, Loreen (Mark) Xapsos of Gasport, �Michael Haley of Holland Patent, NY; father-in-law of Julie Haley of Middleport; �grandfather of Elijah, Marin, Aiden, Joshua and Allison Haley; Anderson and Alex Xapsos; Erika and Samantha Haley; brother of Edward "Chick" Haley, Phyllis (late Robert) Killian, Mary (Mike) Farina, Jean (late John) Rosenbeck, and predeceased by his parents and siblings Joyce Wiseman and Charles Haley; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Parish at St. Patrick's RC Church, 76 Church Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.� Please visit www.pruddenandkandt.com to share your condolences.� Memorials to American Diabetes Association, WNY Office, 315 Alberta Drive, Suite 102, Amherst, NY 14226 would be appreciated by the family.
