Obituary of Albert Valery
Albert C. Valery passed away August 21, 2008 in Odd Fellows & Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born June 20, 1909 in Lockport he was the son of the late Luigi and Amelia (Muscardella) Valerio. Albert worked for 30 years as the master printer for Corson Manufacturing. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and was an avid bowler and golfer. Albert was predeceased by his wife Ardella (Pope) Valery on March 16, 2005.
Albert is survived by his children Robert (Barbara) Valery of Lockport, Mary Ann (Sterling) Lawson of Williamsville and the late Albert Valery. He is also survived his four grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Mark and Joseph (Mary) Healy. Albert was the brother of the Late Rose Schebell, Jessamina "Gig" Schiavitti, Joe "Casey", Louis "Bib", Sylvester "Buck' and Anthony "Bally" and also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday 3-6 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 391 Market Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
