Obituary of Jonathan Verity

Jonathan M. Verity passed away suddenly August 17, 2008. Born November 8, 1986 in Amherst he is the son of David Verity and Linda (Smallman) Verity both of Lockport. Jonathan graduated from DeSales Catholic Middle School he attended St. Joseph's Academy for three years before graduating from Lockport High School. He worked for Delphi in production for two years. Jonathan was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and a season ticket holder. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing. Jonathan was loved by most all who knew him and was often surrounded by his many friends. He greeted everyone he knew with his beautiful smile and famous hug or a warm friendly hand shake.
Besides his parents Jonathan is also survived by his darling daughter Elaina Grace whom he was a devoted father too. He is also survived by his brother Joshua Verity of Lockport and sister Jessica Lynn (Shady) Shaaban of California; grandson of Robert (Connie) Verity; uncle of Ameera Shaaban; also survived by dear friend Audrey Huntington and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where prayers will be offered Saturday at 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM to be celebrated in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Elaina Grace College Fund c/o First Niagara Bank would be appreciated by the family.
