Irene Marie Snedeker of Middleport passed away Saturday, August 09, 2008 at home at the age of 76.� Born March 1, 1932 in Cambria, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick W. and Helen Wiegand Kraatz.� Irene worked at Fisher Price Toy Company in Medina for 21 years.� She enjoyed holiday dinners, playing cards and baking cookies and cakes for her family.� Irene especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her friends.� Irene is predeceased by her husband Donald Snedeker and the father of her children, Robert A. Knoop Jr.

Irene is survived by her children, Kathleen (Gary) Mullin, Robert (Margaret) Knoop III of Hollywood, Fl, Theresa (Kevin) Kirkpatrick of Middleport, Lynn (Greg) Kwiatkowski of Bowling Green, KY, Marybeth (David) Litchfield of Brentwood, TN, and David (Laurene) Knoop of Middleport; sister of Douglas(Jo) Kraatz of Mountain View, AR, William (Doris) Kraatz of Middleport, Wally (Ginny) Kraatz of El Dorado Hills, CA, Helen (Mario) Rabozzi of Oswego, NY, and David (Beth) Kraatz of Clarence Center; grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of six.� Irene is also survived by her best friend Patricia Dalusio and her great neighbors Steve and Lynnmarie Donner and Leona Heinz.� She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.� Irene is also predeceased by her daughter Sharon Marie, her siblings Lorraine Townsend-Meyers, Wilbert Kraatz, and Donald Kraatz, and her grandson Daniel Kwiatkowski.�

Family and Friends may call Monday, August 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 12 at 11 AM.�
