John Peel passed away August 7, 2008 in Erie County Medical Center.� Born January 25, 1940 in Buffalo he was the son of the late John and Virginia (McMullen) Peel.� John served in the US Sir Force during the Korean War.� He owned ands operated Peel Refrigeration from 1964 to 1983.� John and his wife moved to Florida in 1983 and he owned and operated Expert Mechanical from 1983 to 2007.� He enjoyed farming and computers.

John is survived by his wife Deborah (Mumau) Peel of Florida; father of John W. (Cary) Peel of St. Louis, Joshua M. Peel of Rhode Island and Jacob Peel of New York City; grandfather of John Peel and Braden Peel; brother of Nancy (John) Edmister of Lockport.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday evening 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 PM in Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 6339 Hamm Road, Lockport.� Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
