Obituary of Robert Berner

Robert E. Berner passed away August 2, 2008 in Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Born November 27, 1941 in Lockport he was the son of the late Elton and Sylvia (Laatsch) Berner. Robert served in the US Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He worked for Harrison Radiator for 34 years in production. Robert was a member of the American Legion and the Lockport Wood Workers Club. He is survived by his brother Chester J. (Carolyn M.) Berner of Lockport and his nephew Scott Berner of Tonawanda. Robert was also predeceased by his brother Douglas Berner and nephew David P. Berner.

Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of WNY, 4053 Maple Road, Suite 110, Amherst, NY 14226 would be appreciated by the family. www.pruddenandkandt.com
