Conkling, Jean Louise (nee Philipps) passed away July 19, 2008 in United Memorial Hospital, Batavia.� Born June 18, 1926 in Alden she was the loving daughter of the late Joseph Philipps and late Laura Mae (late Floyd) Warner.� Jean worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Co. in Amherst.� She is survived by her beloved husband Dr. Ralph Conkling of nearly 60years (August 14) of Darien Center, NY; dear mother of Betty Mae Martin of California and JoAnn (Robert) Lepsch of Pembroke, NY; sister of the late Elizabeth &amp;quot;Betty&amp;quot; (late Ralph) Young; loving grandmother to Andrew Martin, Amy and Melissa Lepsch; caring Aunt to Debra (Richard) Corica, Diane DiLaura and Rev. Daniel Young. � No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 2021 Sandridge Road, Alden, NY on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 10 AM.
