Bernice Peters Obituary

Bernice V. Peters passed away suddenly March 4, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born September 16, 1918 in Gasport she was the daughter of John and Anna (Sattrum) Bisher. Bernice worked for various businesses. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Peters in 1996 and her three brothers Harold, Lavern and Morris Bisher.


Bernice is survived by her two daughters Harriet (Caesar) Mondo of Lockport and Joyce (Kenneth) Rosseland of New Jersey; step-mother of Roger (Dorothy) Peters, Robert (Hattie) Peters and Annette Cinatti; grandmother of six, great grandmother of eighteen and great-great grandmother of two. She is also survived by several step grandchildren, great grandchildren and her beloved dog Sugar.


Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 5 PM. Interment will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery. Memorials to the Assembly of God Church, 200 Beattie Ave., Lockport, NY 1409 would be appreciated by the family. Services

Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 5 PM in the funeral home.


Interment

Interment will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
