Obituary of Bertha Coley

Bertha Coley daughter of the late James and Amie Floyd, was born June 15,1938 in Wetumpka, AL entered into rest on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Lockport Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.� She moved to Lockport at an early age and attended and graduated from Lockport Senior High School. Bertha was employed at Harrison Radiator as a relief worker she retired after more than 30 years.� Upon her retirement she lovingly cared for her parents and grandmother.� Bertha was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher, sang in the Junior Choir and also regularly attended bible study.� She was predeceased by her sister Vennie Floyd and brother Willie L. Chambless. � Bertha is survived by her son, John L. Coley and guardian son Michael G. Floyd both of Lockport; sister of Rebecca Waters of Rochester and James B. (Mary Jo) Floyd of Lockport; niece of Classie M. Knight of Lockport and also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. � Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM in Friendship Baptist Church. <h3>Visitation</h3> Friday June 20, 2008 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM <h3>Services</h3> Saturday May 21, 2008 11 AM
