Obituary of Louis Hemmer

Louis G. Hemmer passed away June 7, 2008.� Born October 12, 1918 in Lockport he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (McQueeny) Hemmer.� A graduate of Lockport High School Louis worked for 40 years at Harrison Radiator in the Tool & Die Room retiring in 1978.� He was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church and the Knights of Columbus.� Louis greatest joy was his family especially his grandchildren.� He was predeceased by his loving wife Virginia (Garlock) Hemmer in 1999, four brothers and three sisters.

Louis is survived by his two daughters Marilyn Ryan of Lockport and Nancy (James) Kennedy of Norfolk, VA; grandfather of Natalie Sherman, Monica (Dan) Tronolone both of Lockport and Christine (Robert) Gajdek of Norfolk, VA; great grandfather of Christian, Madeline Peracciny, Hunter, Logan Sherman, Sophia, Danielle Tronolone and Emily, Jordyn Gajdek; brother of Esther Brown and Rosemary Bergman; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.� Memorials to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 1023 Swann Road, Lewiston, NY 14092 would be appreciated by the family.
