Obituary of Florence Harzewski

Florence Harzewski passed away June 3, 2008 in Absolut of Gasport Health Care Facility. Born December 24, 1916 in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late Steven and Sophia (Dombleski) Polcyn. Florence worked for the Niagara County Court House in the maintenance department. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Harzewski in October of 2007 and also by her son Richard Harzewski.
Florence is survived by her children Joseph (Frances) Harzewski, Jr., Stanley (Diane) Harzewski and Patricia (Francis) Licata; grandmother of Daniel Schrader, Lisa (Al) Franco, Joanne (Mark) Allmeter, Rachel (Scott) Huntington, Joseph Harzewski, III, Carrie Harzewski, Benjamin Harzewski, William (Heather) Harzewski, Gregory Harzewski, Francis (Kathleen) Licata, Charlene (Daniel) Conley, Jennifer (John) Ossont, Lisa Gardepe, Theresa (Gregory) Fry and Richard Harzewski; great grandmother of seventeen; mother-in-law of Andrea Harzewski.
There will be no prior visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday, June 9, 2008 at 10 AM in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Gasport, 8110 West Avenue, Gasport. Inurnment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga. The family of Mrs. Harzewski would like to thank the staff at Abolut of Gasport for all their care and patients, at the families request donations in Florence's memory may be made to Absolut of Gasport Health Care Facility, 4540 Lincoln Drive, Gasport, NY 14067.
