Ruth Kathke Obituary
Ruth M. Kathke passed away April 28, 2008 in Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center.� Born July 3, 1922 in Lockport she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Rose (Nelson) Wheeler.� Ruth worked as a clerk for Jay's Drug Store retiring in 1988.� She enjoyed exercising at the YWCA, crafts, traveling and poodles.� Ruth was predeceased by her husband Karl M. Kathke on November 3, 1999.

Ruth is survived by her son Donald (Donna) Kathke of Appelton.� She is also survived by her grandson, Nathan Mellenthien of Tonawanda.� Ruth was the sister of the late Lewis Wheeler and Margaret Ogden.� She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday, May 4, 2008 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM.� Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.� Memorials to the Alzheimers Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221-7380 would be appreciated by the family.
