Edwin R. Ball passed away April 18, 2008 in Newfane Rehab &amp; Health Care Center.� Born January 6, 1927 in Erie, PA he was the son of Russell and Mildred (Thompson) Ball.� Edwin served in the Army during WW II.� He worked as a machinist for The Upson Company.� Edwin enjoyed being with his grandchildren, both crossword and jigsaw puzzles and country music.� He was predeceased by his wife Ella Ball. � Edwin is survived by his children Donald (Jean) Ball of Kendall, NY, Sharon (Larry) McCollum of Lockport, Dennis (Amanda) Ball of Lockport, Timothy (Tammy) Ball of Silvercreek, NY Michelle McGowan and Lucinda Ball both of Lockport; grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 11; brother of Johnny, Gary, Marilyn, Sherlie and the late Eugene and Bill Ball; also survived by several nieces and nephews. � Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 11-12 with the funeral immediately following at 12 noon in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. � <h3>Visitation</h3> Wednesday April 23, 2008 11 to 12 PM <h3>Services</h3> Wednesday April 23, 2008 12 PM
