Raymond E. Webster, Sr. entered into rest April 17, 2008 in Erie County Medical Center.� Born February 20, 1920 in Buffalo he was the son of the late Stanley and Melissa (Moyer) Webster.� He served in the US Army in the 113th Calvary as a Medic during WW II from 1943 to 1945, he did not go over to kill but to heal.� Raymond was part of the third wave in Normandy and he was also part of one the units that liberated a concentration camp.� He worked in production at Harrison Radiator for 25 years retiring in January 1980.� Raymond was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lockport, the VFW, American Legion Old Guard, Senior Citizen Center and delivered for Meals-On-Wheels.� He also served as the Grand Marshall for the 4th of July Parade in 2007.�

Raymond is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn (Swigert) Webster of Lockport; father of Raymond "Chip" (Kathleen) Webster, Jr., Paul (Cheryl) Webster and Mary (Timothy) Mulvey; grandfather of Raymond III, Erin, Steven, Corey, Cassandra Webster, Megan and Matthew Mulvey; great grandfather of Cassidy Baron, Athene and Layla Roberts; he is also survived by his dogs Freckles and Caesar, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; predeceased by his siblings Melissa Mollosky, Frank Webster, Myron Webster, Arlene Flechsenhaar and Edward Webster.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 AM in First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church Street, Lockport.� Pall bearers will be Ray Webster, Jr., Paul Webster, Timothy Mulvey, Raymond Webster, III, Steven Webster, Matthew Mulvey and Corey Webster.� Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery.� Memorials to the church or Niagara Hospice or to the Outwater Veterans Memorial Fund, 40 Outwater Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
