Dorothy J Haenle, age 88, entered into rest on February 21, 2010, after a short illness. Born, November 8, 1921 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Winkleman) Shaver. Her husband of 44 years, John (Jack) Haenle II, predeceased her February 1985.

Dorothy leaves behind her three beloved children; Ellen (Jack) Kander, Michael (Vicki) Haenle and Mark Haenle and the late John (Marjorie) Haenle III; 9 Grandchildren; John IV, Kevin, Melissa, Michelle, Michael, Mark II, Matthew Haen1e, Julie Morse, Kristopher Kander; 15 Great-grandchildren; Catherine, Meaghan, John V, Alyssa, Larry, Mallorie, Nina, Nick, Maya, Madeline, Benjamin, Jack, Max, Royon, Rielly. Dorothy was the sister of the late Marion (Gene) Cathcart and Harold Shaver and is also survived by her sister-in-law of Elizabeth (Betty) Shaver, three nephews and dearest friend Dr. Margaret Libby.

Family and friends may call Tuesday 3 to 8pm at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Lockport where prayers will be offered Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 AM in All Saints Parish, at St. Patrick's Church, 76 Church St. Lockport, on. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. Memorials to the Lockport Public Library, Niagara Hospice or a charity of your choice in Dorothy's memory would be appreciated by the family.

Services

Prayers will be offered Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM, at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 AM in All Saints Parish, at St. Patrick's Church, 76 Church St. Lockport.

Interment

Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
