Obituary of Russell Robinson

Russell Robinson passed away March 31, 2008 in Lockport memorial Hospital.� Born December 22, 1918 in Perry, GA he was the son of the late Clemmie Robinson.� Russell worked as a supervisor for 25 years construction companies in the Lockport area.� He will always be remembered as being a very helpful gentleman driving the elderly.� Russell enjoyed spending time with his family, country music, golf, boxing and old cars.� He was predeceased by his wife Minnie (Day) Robinson on August 4, 1997.

Russell is survived by his children Carsee (Henry) Herring, Rosa-Vinson (Ulysses) Patterson, Betty Hamilton, Carolyn (John) Robinson-Zimberlin, James (Hope) Robinson, Charles Robinson, Howard Robinson, Janette Robinson, Penny (Danielle) Neal, Sugar Ray (Diane) Robinson, Gloria Webster, Donna (Thomas) Robinson-Razor, Mark (Lori) Robinson and the late Michael Robinson; grandfather of forty-six and many great grandfather; brother of the late Tut, Hartley and Son Robinson; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday 7 to 9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM in the First Baptist Church, 140 Genesee Street, Lockport.� Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
