Druesilla Robinson was received into the arms of the Lord after she was stricken suddenly on Thursday February 11, 2010 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born May 6, 1932 in Montgomery, AL., she was the daughter of the late Spencer and Suckie Glenn Bennett. Druesilla worked for Fisher Price, the College Inn and Ferree Plastics. She enjoyed serving the Lord, caring for her family, especially, helping to raise her grandchildren, working around the house, cooking and tending to her plants.
She is survived by her husband Walter A. Robinson of Lockport, mother of Walter (Joanne) Robinson of Attica, NY, Patricia (Radcliffe) Robinson-Lawrence-Haynes, James Robinson, Lou Carroll, Sam Bell, William (Patty) Robinson, Jacquelyn Robinson, Caleb (Julia) Bell all of Lockport and the late Gwendolyn Wiley and Arlene Jenkins. Druesilla is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and was the sister of three brothers, seven sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 AM in Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 5652 Saunders Settlement Road, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
