Obituary of Pauline M. Bane

Pauline Marie Bane passed away April 21, 2015 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Lockport on September 16, 1919 she was the daughter of Dominick and Rose (Lombardo) Cacioppo. Pauline worked at her father's grocery store, "Dom's Grocery" and also for Harrison radiator for 28 years where she was the secretary in the Engineering Department, she retired in 1983. Pauline was a member of St. Joseph's RC Church where she was on Bishop's Committee. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Bane in 1975.
Pauline is survived by her son Dale (Diane) Bane; grandmother of Courtney Bane; great grandmother of Ethan Bane; sister-in-law of Beatrice Cacioppo; also survived by several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving caretaker of 5 years, Barbara Riggs.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, April 23rd from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Friday, April 24th at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.

<h3>Services</h3>
Prayers will be offered Friday, April 24th at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
<h3>Interment</h3>
Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
