True R. Warner passed away April 10, 2015 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. True was born March 5, 1916 in Pitsburg, Ohio, the son of Rollie and Daisy (Baker) Warner. True served 4 years in the U.S. Marines during W.W. II in the Pacific Theatre. A lifelong sportsman True also enjoyed to the fullest hunting and fishing. He worked over 25 years as a Classified Salesman for the Lockport Union Sun and Journal.
True was the beloved husband of the late Serene Holley Warner who passed away December 18, 1985. He was the father of Bruce (Laurie) Warner of Clarence, Dean (Nancy) Warner of Richmond, VA. and the late James (Carol) Warner; also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. He also was the brother of the late Mabel Blevins, Voneda Penny, Roy, Ralph, Ray, Donald and Paul Warner. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday April 13, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY where Private funeral services will be held Tuesday. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials to the Salvation Army, 50 Cottage Street, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
