Dear Jane, Julie,Joel and Girls: Our hearts are heavy with John's passing but we feel very blessed for opportunity to have fun and play together on the boat, bikes, snow skis and windsurfers. Our joint retirement started with our camping trip across the U.S. in search for the perfect warm and windy location. We found it in Tarpon Springs, Fl where just a few days ago we said goodbye to John as he started on another journey......rest in peace and thanks for the memories our dear, dear friend. Brian and Emilie

I have so many fond childhood memories of weekends spent with all of you at Sherkston. John taught me to waterski, allowed me to help him and Julie sail his beloved Hobie Cat, and above all treated me like one of your family. He was such a warm, kind man who accepted people just the way they were. I was so sad to hear of his passing. He remains forever young in my memories. Please know that I am thinking of you all--as are many others who may not know what to say at this painful time.
