Obituary of Michael James Dmochowski

Michael James Dmochowski passed away March 21, 2015. Born December 20, 1996, in Amherst, NY, he was the son of Thomas Dmochowski and Michelle Luksch Dmochowski. Michael was a Senior at Lockport High School, where he was a member of the Swim Team, National Honor Society, National Mathematics Honor Society and was the recipient of the Sportsmanship Award winner and the Academic All American Award, which is awarded to less than 2% of High School Swimmers, he was also a water safety coordinator and was a Swim Instructor at the High School for the YMCA, in the summer. Michael also worked part time at Lake Effect Ice Cream. Beside his parents, Michael is survived by his siblings, Stephen, Kathryn and Lauren Dmochowski. Grandson of Stephan and Theresa Dmochowski and the late Norman and Dolores Luksch. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call on Wednesday March 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.
