Obituary of Robert H. Linderman

Robert H. "Bob" Linderman, 89, passed away March 20, 2015 in Absolut of Gasport. Born in Lockport on December 29, 1925 he was the son of Arthur and Anna (Budnack) Linderman. Robert served in the US Navy from during WW II. He worked for Harrison Radiator where he was a Tool & Dye Maker retiring in 1983. Robert was a member of the American Legion B. Leo Dolan Post 410 where he was Past Unit Commander, Knights of Columbus #319, and St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. He was an avid reader, enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Robert is survived by his wife Barbara A. (Laughlin) Linderman of Lockport; father of Daniel J. (Ann) Linderman of North Tonawanda, Paula (Gary) Dorrell of Florida, Ann Strickland of Medina, and John (Gail) Linderman of Lockport; grandfather Whitney Linderman, Stephen Linderman, Amanda (Chad) Kroening, Rachel Strickland, Joshua Strickland, Desiree Linderman, Matthew Linderman, and Robert Linderman and great grandfather of Olivia, Tyler, Sophie, and Molly Kroening; brother of the late Paul Linderman, Marie Root, and Eugene Linderman; also survived by several nieces and nephews and dear friend John Cull.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, March 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Friday, March 27th at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of WNY, 1775 Wehrle Dr., Suite 150, Williamsville, NY 14221 or at www.cff.org would be appreciated.

Prayers will be offered Friday, March 27th at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.

Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
