Obituary of Jessamine Roberts

Jessamine (Jess) Roberts went home to the lord Thursday March 19, 2015. Born June 23rd 1936 to Robert and Marguerite Grimble. wife of the late Douglas E Roberts and soulmate and best friend of John Marsherall, mother of Douglas e Roberts (Lisa Eichorn) and the late Susan (Roberts) Kern devoted Grandmy to Danielle V. Roberts, Sister to the late Marguerite Grimble, Robert, Jr. and Helen Grimble. Jess worked in the family business Grimbles Hardware from age 15 to the time of her recent illness. She enjoyed spending time with her family, at their cottage on Lake Ontario. She was an avid fan of the Bills, Sabres, and Red Sox. She also liked traveling overseas and around the country. She enjoy dinning with her many friends in Lockport and will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends may call Monday March 23, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 11 AM in All Saints RC Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport, NY. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the All Saints R.C. Parish or Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
