Obituary of Virginia J. Chase

Virginia J. Chase passed away March 17, 2015 at Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born in Jamestown, NY on April 5, 1924 she was the daughter of Paul and Bertha (Harp) Johnson. Virginia worked for Harrison Radiator where she was an inspector. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lockport, member of the UAW Local 686, volunteered at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport and enjoyed working on ceramics.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 69 years Leroy Carlton Chase; mother of Carlton Lee (Patricia) Chase, Larry Allen Chase and the late Nancy Ann Chase; grandmother of Roberta (Michael) Muscarella, Matthew Chase, Melisa Niver, David Chase, and Christopher Chase; great grandmother of Joseph, Julia, and Jack Muscarella; sister of the late Paul Johnson and Margaret Daniels; also survived by several nieces and great nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Friday, March 20th at 11:30 AM in First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church St., Lockport.
