Condolences go the family. I met Frances when I would visit the office of Chester Grove. It has been many years ago but I remember her as being a sweet and kind lady. Chester Grove was my uncle. Miss him and the knowledge he gave me through the years. May you cherish the memories you have as they will carry you through this difficult time. God Bless!

Carol, your Mom led a good full life. I always had such fun going over to your house after school and your Mom and Grandma were such fun to visit with. May she rest in peace knowing she led a wonderful life on earth and raised two wonderful daughters.

I worked with Fran at Chester Grove's office from 1971-1986. She was wonderful to work with and certainly knew her "stuff". She was a great lady to know. My sympathy to her family.

Dear family of Fran: I worked with Fran at Mr. Grove's office for over 35 years. She was a very good teacher and friend. I loved hearing about her travels. She used to make us very nice gifts with her craft talents. Sincerely Paula Watson

Carol, I am so sorry to hear about your mother and I offer condolences to you and your family. I'm so glad we have Dayton keeping us up on news and able to stay in touch!I am especially glad to know abut your Mom's passing because, although I didn't realize it at the time, I worked with her on school breaks every vacation while I was in Law School! During my Spring Break from Cornell Law, back in 1977, I applied for a summer job with Chester Grove. He hired me and, though I also got aob working with the Niagara Falls Legal Aid, Chester insisted that I work at his firm on weekends and evenings, too, so I would get exposure to a law firm practice. What a lucky break! He was a wonderful man and a great teacher, we got along very well and I ended up working for him over every school break for the rest of my law school years. I remember a highlight was working on the closing documents for the sale of the house at 16 Alfred St. near the corner of Alfred and Park Ave, right across from the tennis courts, where I lived from age 2 to age 8 -- really near Billy McKee and Patty Holahan! I remember your mother from Chester's office and how nice she always was. What a great flash-back to my past -- makes me feel young again! I will be thin king of you, your family and your mother and keeping you all in my prayers! All the best, Carolyn Swift
