Obituary of Ronald Lee Smith

Ronald L. Smith passed away March 8, 2015 in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo. Born in Hornell, NY on March 8, 1932 he was the son of Raymond and Lucy (Ives) Smith. Ronald graduated from Hornell High School and earned his Bachelor's degree from Alfred Tech. He worked for 42 years at Praxair, Inc. in Buffalo, NY retiring in 1994. Ronald attended First Presbyterian Church in Lockport and also a member of the Fence Painters Club. He enjoyed doing and caring for others, hunting, fishing, camping, sports and especially enjoyed being with his family. Ronald is survived by his wife Charlene Seekins-Smith of Lockport; father of Thomas Lee Smith of Lockport, Martin B. (Kathryn) Smith of Cherry Creek, NY, James D. (Mary) Smith of Middleport; step-son Jeffrey Seekins of Lockport; grandfather of ten and great grandfather of five; dear friend of Pamela Caldwell, Eileen Smith and Edward Dzioba. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, March 14th at 11 AM in the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church St., Lockport followed by a reception immediately following at the church. Memorial donations to the Music Program of the First Presbyterian Church or to UNYTS, 110 Broadway, Buffalo, NY 14203 would be appreciated. <h3>Services</h3> Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, March 14th at 11 AM in the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church St., Lockport followed by a reception immediately following at the church.
