Obituary of Larry R. Dwyer

Larry R. Dwyer passed away Saturday February 21, 2015. Born in Syracuse, NY on July 31, 1944, he was the son of the late John and Ida (nee McWilliams) Dwyer. Larry graduated from the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering. He worked at Harrison Radiator for 34 years, in the Chemical lab as a Process Engineer, then a Supervisor, finishing his career working in production, Larry then retired in 1999. Larry was a past member of the Mason's, in the Niagara Lodge #375 and the Senior Golf League at the Niagara County Gold Course, he enjoyed, golfing, playing guitar, riding motorcycle, puzzles, and going to garage sales and flea markets.
Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy (Pshirrer) Dwyer; father of Christopher (Lisa Ribera) Dwyer of Newfane and James (Laura Dean) Dwyer of Lockport; grandfather of Shelby Dwyer and Cody Dwyer. He was the brother of Pat (Bill) Winters of FL., John (Susan) Dwyer of Fl., Mary (Albert) Sirianni of PA. and Molly (Tim) Schwab of Tonawanda; brother in-law of Kathryn (Fran) Passuite, Jeannette Gardner and Barbara (Edward) Oldenburg. Larry is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday, February 26th from 4-6 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where services will immediately follow at 6 PM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
