David R. Bowler passed away February 19, 2015. Born in Lockport on December 26, 1934 he was the son of Arthur D. and Anna R. (Beccue) Bowler. David served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He was a Barker High School graduate class of 1954 and worked at Republic Aviation, Farmingdale Electrician, Bell Air Craft, College Inn, E & R Machine and retired from Harrison Radiator. David was a member of the Rapids Rod & Gun Club, the Iroquois Arms, and past member of the Hartland Conservation Club. He was predeceased by his wife Francine (Zinzi) Bowler on December 27, 2005. David is the brother of Roger Bowler of Alexander, NY, Betsey (Wayne) Pulver of Glendale, AZ, Rebecca (late Fred) Austin of Gasport and late Dennis Bowler; uncle of Roger (Belinda) Bowler, Jr., Steven C. Bowler, Daniel (Rene) Bowler, Robin Bowler, Neil Pulver, Scott Rocca, Arthur Mauriello, Ruth Ann Schiavetta and late Susan Austin and Laura Jean Bowler; survived by several cousins, several great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his step mother Arlene Bowler and two great nieces, Diana Bowler and Stephanie Bowler. Friends may call Monday 6-8 PM and Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 AM with Rev. David Hayes officiating. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
